Heat, Glare and UV-Control Anti-Fragmentation Window Film
Our solar control safety and security films offer the protection and
security of Safety Zone clear security films with the heat rejection,
glare control and UV block of select Solar Zone films.
Cold Steel Safety i s manufactured using a patented metallizing
process, and is designed for a neutral appearance. The film's
excellent Solar Energy Rejection lowers heat gain and glare-saving on
energy cost-as well as blocking 99% of harmful UV radiation. Cold
Steel Safety is available in several mil thickness and light
transmissions, and is recommended for both residential and
commercial use.

Although invisible, ultraviolet or UV radiation is the single most damaging
spectrum of the solar electromagnetic field. Over exposure harms both
skin and eyes, and it's one of the major causes of fading of fabrics,
pictures and upholstery. And since plain glass filters only about 30% of
UV light, both we, and our belongings, are vulnerable to it's damaging
effects even when indoors.
Solar Zone's UV Filter Film, a window film constructed from thin layers of
polyester impregnated with special chemicals, absorbs 99.8% of UV
light. When installed on the interior windows, doors, skylights and
showcases, UV Filter Films provides one of the highest levels of
protection from UV radiation available in window film today, with little
perceptible reduction in visible light.
